1. The Ministry of External Affairs is organising the 14th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention from 7 to 9 January 2017, in Bengaluru in partnership with the Government of Karnataka.
2. To inform the Overseas Indian community about the PBD convention 2017 and various engagement initiatives of the Ministry of External Affairs and India Development Foundation of Overseas Indians (IDF-OI) are organising a Google Hangout session, scheduled for 01 November 2016 at 1630 hrs IST. The Session will be chaired by OSD (OIA&CPV) Shri Dnyaneshwar M. Mulay.
3. During the session, the MEA officers will also inform the Overseas Indian community about how they can contribute to social and development projects in India, including Swachh Bharat Mission.
