Out-of-Turn issue of Passports under Tatkal Scheme and under normal scheme on Post-PV basis
Enclosed is Ministry of External Affairs’ Gazette Notification G.S.R. 39(E) dated 11.1.2018, regarding the out-of-turn issue of passports under Tatkal Scheme and issue of fresh passport under normal scheme on Post-PV basis without paying any additional Tatkal fee.
It may be seen from the contents of the Notification that the Verification Certificate is no longer required to be submitted by an applicant seeking passport under the revised Tatkal scheme. However, applicants have to provide other required documents as mentioned in the Notification.”
